Based on existing structures of the Phage Lambda tail complex, as well as imaging and other experimental evidence, this assembly approximates interactions and stoichiometries of each protein involved in viral tail formation. Structures of individual proteins were both experimentally derived from public databases, as well as predicted with AlphaFold using amino acid sequence inputs. For the latter, quaternary structures were assembled by aligning subunits to experimentally derived homologous structures in Pymol. Arranged and rendered in Adobe Substance 3D Stager.
